OJCF Book of Life
The Oregon Jewish Community Foundation’s Endowment Book of Life shares the stories of those who commit to a legacy gift or establish an endowment for Jewish organizations in our community.
Along with the stories shared below, the Book of Life includes a physical book with stories and photos, an interactive display at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center. It serves as a public tribute to legacy donors, inspiring others to make their own commitments.

How It Works

All legacy donors who have formalized their commitment to after-lifetime gifts for our Jewish organizations are invited to sign the Endowment Book of Life.
This evolving collection honors donors by capturing their commitment to Jewish values and passing on traditions from one generation to the next, embodying the concept of l’dor v’dor — from generation to generation.
