OJCYF
Through the Oregon Jewish Community Youth Foundation (OJCYF), we are transforming Oregon and SW Washington teens into the next generation of Jewish philanthropists.
OJCYF is a hands-on, student-led program that turns passionate teens into thoughtful changemakers. Participants work as a team to explore pressing issues in the community, learn how nonprofits operate, and decide where funding can do the most good. You’ll visit local organizations, hear directly from community leaders, and raise money together to support causes that matter to you.
OJCF is excited to welcome a new cohort of leaders to this youth-powered program for the 2025-2026 school year. OJCYF welcomes a diverse group of Jewish high school teens from Oregon and SW Washington committed to making a difference in their community through philanthropy.
At OJCYF, teens aren’t just the future—they’re making change right now. This program is designed for anyone who wants to grow as a leader, show up for their community, and be part of something bigger.

Focus Statement
The 2024-2025 OJCYF cohort is greatly concerned about the recent rise in antisemitism. Our cohort will donate funds to organizations that counter antisemitism and foster understanding, resilience, and support for Israel through education, community engagement, and compassionate aid for those impacted by hate and conflict.
